It's been a helluva week. Last Thursday I got a call to pick up Marc after he'd thrown up all over at day care. I took him home that day and kept him home the next day. He threw up for about 12 hours and was perfectly fine after that. I, on the other hand, caught it from him and instead of giving in spent 48 hours trying not to throw up. Also, Marcelo had to work all weekend so I was stuck at home miserable coralling both of them.

Tuesday, I was checking my online banking and noticed that $930 had been stolen from our bank account in 4 ATM transactions. In Vegas. With the pin number. Add in the $140 in bank charges for becoming overdrawn.

Yesterday, one of my fillings fell out.

...and yet...

Alex and Marcelo didn't catch it. The bank gave us our money back and refunded the charges and will do the investigation and prosecution themselves. My tooth doesn't hurt.

And... all of it seems like small potatoes compared to what a lot of people here in SoCal went through last week.
