I see a light at the end of the diaper buying tunnel! Yesterday, at his teacher's request, I put Alex on the allergy list so he wouldn't get juice at school. He's never had trouble with it at home, but apparently whatever kind of juice they have at the day care goes right through him and he kept having poop accidents.

So, yesterday he actually made it to the potty in time to poop. And the only change of clothes he needed was from spilling milk on himself. :) This morning, for the second time this week, he woke up with a totally dry diaper, took it off himself, threw it away, then went to the potty before getting in the bath.

Over the weekend, while we were out and about, he didn't do it 100% of the time, but he did tell us when he had to go most of the time and went in public bathrooms. It's one thing to remember when the bathroom is right there, another when it's an effort to get to a bathroom and hold it until you can find one. But he did it!
