Marcelo has been very frustrated at the lack of progress at his solar job. The company he works for has been slow at getting the business set up and partnering with an installer in California so that business in California can start. There have been a million excuses but really the fact is that they're so busy in Colorado at the home office (which is great that the company is doing well!) that they haven't made time for follow through in California. Marcelo has been on the payroll so he hasn't been able to complain too much.

Then, two days ago he got a call from his friend that brought him into the company saying they had to find a different installer and start over with them and they might have to put Marcelo "on hold" (read as: remove him from the payroll) until it is complete and they're ready to go. *sigh* He usually gets paid by direct deposit every other Friday at midnight. He checked the bank account this morning. No direct deposit.

We're hoping that it's just delayed because banks were closed yesterday. But it doesn't look promising. Two days notice sucks, and even then they didn't say it was happening for sure, and especially not so soon.

Grrrrr.
