Remember my worry that our fruit harvest would be way below normal? I just noticed that my initial impression that our apricots hadn't started to fruit yet was wrong. They have and are now the size of walnuts.

The reason I didn't see them was because we have precisely 8 apricots on the entire tree. It's a big tree, so it's possible there are some all the way at the top that I can't see, but the leaves aren't all in yet so I can see most of the tree from the bottom.

I suppose at least this year we won't have dozens of overripe apricots raining down on us when a strong wind blows...
