Having been a part of the game industry/community as long as we have, I never thought we'd allow the kids to get into Pokemon or Bakugan or any of those games. But, of course, as kids get older they get exposed to things by their friends. So Marc started asking for Bakugan because some of the older kids play it.

It turns out to actually be quite a good game. It's something we can play together and can be a learning tool. He's getting reading practice by reading the special abilities on the cards and math practice by adding the Bakugan's points to the card's points to figure out who wins.
