I know I haven't been around much, it's been a kind of crappy few months for me. I've been really stressed out and then I lost my cat that had been with me for 15 years to kidney failure last month. I just haven't been in the mood to post much.

But today deserves a post! My baby is 6 today! I just can't believe he's so grown up. I remember his birth so clearly and it seems like it just happened and now I have this wonderful, sweet, intelligent, kind, grown up kid.

We had his birthday party on Sunday. It was Star Wars theme (of course!) and all of the kids got a foam lightsaber to take home. We also had a waterslide jumper to keep the kids cool. It was awfully hot. It got up to 104 I think - at least it didn't reach 117 like it did 3 years ago. But it went very well! And he had tons of fun.
