Fire season has begun again. Water dropping planes and helicopters are circling overhead waiting their turn to fill up from the lake at Bonelli park. Smoke is in the air and a brown haze is blowing across the sky.

Welcome to late summer in LA.

For those who have asked, I'm close but not that close. There's no danger to us over here.

This is where the fire is and we're near where the 210 and 57 come together.
