So being a sagittarius, I tend to just jump into things without preparing properly. or more accurate, I HATE doing all the really little nit picky things you have to do when doing house remodeling type stuff.

why do i have to tape off the woodwork and fill in holes when all's i want to do is just slap the paint right up there with the telescoping paint brush?

anyway, the whole looking at paint chips at home depot thing frankly is just way too intimidating. how am i supposed to choose a color for a room that i will have to live with for the next (hopefully) 10 years of my life from a little piece of paper? i suck at visualization.

so I looked for signs from god. and this may be a little hoky, but the two colors of paint I chose for the living room and the guest room were both related to Japan. yep, I chose "green tea" for the guest room and "netsuke" for the living room.

let's hope the whole "go with paint colors named by Japanophiles" thing works out okay...
