So last week was yucky because two stories of mine that were being held long past the posted response time (meaning they were being seriously considered or had been passed up to the main editor) were rejected on the same day. And then I got a rejection from an online writing tutor position I applied for, so I was doing the whole 'what is my life about anyway?' angst thing.

But then today, I got my first acceptance since I moved to Portland. So this isn't a story I wrote recently, but still. Yippee!
