While being a full time stay at home mother does have its "just kill me now" moments, I have to say that if I weren't a co-sleeping mom, there would never come that time of night when I go to the futon and maika is already sleeping there, a bundle of sweet-and-sour warmth.

I slip under the comforter with my flashlight and book, and in her sleep, she rolls toward me, slipping her hands underneath my shirt and gently kneading my back like a cat. Then she'll sigh and snuggle in as I read my book.

Priceless.
