I called my mom this morning and the first thing she said to me was "ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGG"

Yep, it's snowing here in Portland. After many years in Iowa and Ohio, my mom hates snow.

Mia and Maika, on the other hand, can't wait to go outside and make a snowman.

But it's funny to me how people react to snow. While Portlanders sneer at stopping activities for rain (what's with that no umbrella thing?) snow stops everyone in their tracks.

So here, let me lob a snowball at you for good luck today.
