One of the great mysteries of parenthood to me is how, on the same day, I can go from high to low with my children so quickly.

At naptime, with maika fitted against me like a puzzle piece, I feel warm and complete. Then, just two hours later, I want to bite her head off if she says "mommy" one more time!

Okay, so maybe it's must me, eh? I'm on a roller coaster emotional ride? Or possibly is it that children push every emotional button you have in random shuffle?
