2007-09-15 1:17 PM To Dream the impossible dream... I have to say at the start of this entry that I love my life. Meeting Naoto, having girl1 and girl2 are some of the most important events in my life.
And I can't tell you what a pleasure it is to watch children grow, and to have a life partner who feels the importance of creating a connected family and to whom your children are very important. But...if there was ever a time I regretted having a family (just for a millisecond, mind you) it would be the other day when I came across the Clarion Writing Workshop (san diego) announcement for their 2008 instructors. Six weeks of intensive writing workshop with a group of dedicated writers all living together in a dorm on a San Diego Beach. And who are your teachers? Oh, just people like Kelly Link, Neil Gaiman (oh my god, Neil Gaiman!), Mary Anne Mohanraj, and Nalo Hopkinson. Anybody know a private cloning corporation?
