The romance writer Julia Quinn was recommended to me, so I started on her Bridgerton Series from the Beaverton Library.

And I like them. I like when a series of romance novels has interconnecting stories, characters that are major in one book and minor in another, and a time continuity.

I also like the fact that her romances don't have heroinces indulging in hanky panky that would not be allowed at that time. I love all that sexual tension arising just from a kiss or the baring of too much chest or ankle.

On the down side, her heroines have been a touch on the bland side for me.
