Naoto and I went to a live concert at the Crystal Ballroom last week.

(cue squeeing of delight at change in our usual suburbian thirtysomething lives)

The band was Calexico, which, if you read this journal, you'll remember me getting a crush on them a few months ago.

Anyway, someone apparently taped House of Valparaiso at the concert we went to and loaded it up on youtube.com.

It has the most mesmerizing trumpet line you'll ever hear; sweet and smooth like butter. Naoto and I keep humming it around the house.
