Yes, our school district has been closed for the past three days because of snow.

So my world is turned upside down by the presence of my children and the inability to go very far away. We've had some nice playdates with local friends.

But...it means I'm using energy I don't usually have to expend in the course of my daily life because its routine. This is definitely not routine.

And when I sit down at the end of the night, I have NO energy left over for writing or for the first editing pass on novel #2.

And it was my birthday this week so of course there has been night time going out (which also kills my desire to do any kind of work).

But things are okay, if going at a slightly different pace than usual.

Allrighty, then. Time for me to hop back on the wagon and put my nose to the grindstone.
