2009-10-23 9:30 AM None of you are special Really. I'm not kidding.
All of you people I had to listen to this morning (through my part time job) who talked about how "unique" your country is compared to other countries...you're wrong. Yes, there are special things about each country, but none of us are more special than the other unique and special countries. And I'm tired of that "oh my country is so unique and special and had thousands of years of history and you poor slobs will never really understand" attitude. There are other regions of the world with 1000 year old histories, dude. (and the petty part of me wants to draw attention to the fact that those countries have had a long, long time to GET IT RIGHT, and I have yet to see any of those countries preeminently superior in the world in terms of the quality of their governance) So. This is your friendly neighborhood world traveler notification. You. Are. Not. Special. Read/Post Comments (1) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
