2010-01-18 12:22 PM Make me an instrument of thy peace I was going to go all St. Francis on you on this MLK Jr. day, but Lilith St. Crow beat me to it.

(I love her YA series Strange Angels) I attended a Quaker College which influenced me for life. We are called to attend our fellow humans. A life without service in some way is really no life at all. My Great Aunt Margaret, who was a doctor (pretty cool for her generation) and humanitarian recently passed away. I am hoping that on this day, we can remember what is important about living as humans in a society of humans, as well as think about how we can live a life that includes service to others as my Aunt Margaret did.
