I don't have a snappy "out" yet, but Version 2 of the script (in which I used a modification of the original setup--the threat level now matches the value of the missing object) is roughed out and it works. I'll post it when I've got the final punchline and I've trimmed it a little. (This draft is 7-1/2 pages long, up from 5.)
