2005-11-01 4:06 PM Morning of a thousand words My little boys are now sleeping through the night.
Not reliably. Not predictably. Not without waking up and complaining before nodding off again. Not without the occasional gas crisis. But for something like three of the last five nights, they were both asleep by around 10:00 PM and didn't awaken fully until 7:00 AM. And I've finished enough historical research, a little at a time each night, that between that, the 3 nights of near-unbroken sleep, and the doppio con panna, today was a thousand-word morning at Starbucks. And the broken rear spoke got fixed this morning (after an aborted attempt yesterday: the bike shop mechanic called in sick, so I had to ride back home with the brakes rubbing, change, and catch a cab), and I'm not too sick or exhausted to ride, so I'm in an exercise-related good mood at the day job. And the SAG Short Film Agreement paperwork is sitting up at the front of the building, waiting for UPS. And the identity theft claim is being faxed to Wells Fargo today. The only self-delusion sweeter than "Now everything is how it should be" is "And it will stay that way." Read/Post Comments (9) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
