Having done Powerpoint presentations for internal meetings at large pharmaceutical companies, I shouldn't be surprised.

APRIL

Yesterday I waited even longer than usual for a client to get back to me with an approval--so while I was killing time, I fired up Digital Performer and made a 90-second piece of music.

MAY

You're stuck inside FAHRENHEIT 451. Which book do you want to be?

JUNE

Okay, dude. I know you're there

JULY

Between this excellent article, Bill Peschel's comment about Tarantino-meets-Cole-Porter, and the niggling doubts I already had, I've decided I need to change my costume ideas for the Thugs.

AUGUST

Saturday I hooked up the Kid Karriage, loaded it up with boy, and set out for the Flushing Meadows Park bike path in 90° weather.

SEPTEMBER

An 8AM flight to Chicago is not the best plan when your baby care shift ends at 3AM and the little demons take turns having various issues.

OCTOBER

Despite its making me acutely aware of

how scattershot my reading habits are,
how many books I apparently never bothered to finish, and
the fact that I've finished one (1) book since December '04 (SCHOOL DAYS, the new Robert B. Parker),

this was an interesting exercise.

NOVEMBER

My little boys are now sleeping through the night.
