2006-08-23 2:00 PM Question for industry people Entertainment industry. Not fish industry. Not bowling pin industry. Entertainment industry.
If you read this blog much at all, you know that I LOVE YOU, I'M SORRY, AND I'LL NEVER DO IT AGAIN is based on a musical number from CUPID & PSYCHE, a feature-length musical I'm working towards making. I'm hoping ILY will get us noticed and CUPID & PSYCHE will be the result. I have a finished demo MP3 of one of the other numbers, YOU'RE GONNA DIE. I could put it in the DOWNLOADS section of the ILY website. My question is this: Is that a bad idea? Would the ready downloadability make CUPID & PSYCHE less attractive to investors, distributors, producers, etc, because I've given away a key asset? Or would it increase our odds of even finding that person in the first place, and then make us more attractive as a package, since we've got this great short film, this great demo track, this great screenplay...? Entertainment industry people, feel free to email if you don't want to post a public reply. My email is above this entry. Shoe industry people, I love you and will keep you in mind for shoe questions. Read/Post Comments (10) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
