2006-11-01 10:27 AM My bad email situation has gone from extremely frustrating to nearly gridlocked. If you've written and I haven't responded, chances are I never got it--and it's also possible that I wrote you back and you never got that, either, or that you'll receive an answer next week to your note of last week.
For now, if you need to reach me, email noteoff at mac dot com. We are experiencing technical difficulties. Please stand by. Just got this from the guy who runs my ISP: For the past few days we have been undergoing a freakin "dictionary attack". It's like a denial of service attack, where a spammer sends a large file to gibberish email addresses (e.g. asydgqwerhsad@domainname.com). The result is that trying to deal with all the bouncebacks is using up all the server resources, so real mail can't go through. Read/Post Comments (3) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
