My daily word count has improved, too--and I downloaded a trial of DEVONthinkPro Office after seeing Michael Chabon mention it in his acknowledgments. Six hundred cubic yards of novel research are getting poured into it. Web pages, Word documents, SimpleText notes, a few mailbags worth of emails... all cross-referenced, all grouped by subject. I can find stuff. I'm excited.
