When I said "the entrance to the protected bike path is right here," what I really meant was "a ramp that really ought be an entrance to the protected bike path is right here."

Having carefully descended the slippery, rutted ice with the bike this morning (three switchbacks under one overpass over two fascinated homeless men), I found myself again at my nemesis, the evil locus where bicycles enter expressways because Riverside Drive SUCKS!

Literally. It sucks bicycles into expressways.

On the bright side, now I know how to get up to our building next time the locus tries to get me. Haha, I'll cry. Your grasping claws are no match for the lessons of my previous stupidity.
