The East LA Interchange If you have never driven through Los Angeles, try to avoid it. If you have, then you probably understand just how evil this poor example of civil engineering can be. Just east of Los Angeles, the 10, 110, 5, and 60 freeways all meet at the same point. Normally, this would be ok, but the East LA Interchange doesn't have one of those fancy raised flower designs where all of the freeways have connections to all of the other freeways. The four freeways mentioned above all pour into a single freeway, 5 lanes wide, for about 4 miles, and then split into 4 freeways again. Those 4 miles are the devil. I have to find another way...
