2002-02-13 11:38 AM "Axis of Arrogance" is more like it.. It is times like this that I fear for our country. The US government and people may disagree with the political choices and/or actions of Iraq, Iran and N. Korea, but those aren't our decisions to make! Bush's statement that those nations and/or peoples are "Evil" is so self-centered and arrogant that it makes me ashamed of our President.
Iran, Iraq and N. Korea have very different ways of life and governments than we do, but who died and made us boss? Don't get me wrong, I like our way of life best, which is why I choose to live here, but it's not like we are this shining haven of goodness. We are running news reports about how terrible Iran is because they are having large "Anti-Amercian" rallys, but aren't we doing exactly the same thing with this whole "Axis of Evil" crap? Pot, Kettle, Black. It makes me wonder if Bush is actually trying to start another cold war. Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
