I did my "good deed" for the day yesterday in the middle of rush hour traffic on the 110 Freeway. I was driving along and I saw this little black lump on the shoulder of the freeway up against the wall. This section of the 110 is a big concrete channel, there is really no way to get out except for the exit ramps, because everything else is a 10-40 foot wall.

I wasn't sure if what I saw was just some trash, but I couldn't bare to drive by and not know. So.... here she is:



She hissed and scratched at me quite a bit, but I protected myself well, and she's been sitting on the porch in Artemis' kitty carrier since last night. She went through a half of a bowl of water (the bowl being nearly as big as she is), so I don't know how long she was out there, but it probably was awhile.

I'm going to take her to the Humane Society in just a few minutes, if you happen to live in or near Glendale and would like a little kitten, please find her there.
