Mood: Happy! Read/Post Comments (2) |
2002-12-01 10:43 PM Long, Wonderful Weekend I had an excellent weekend!
Nesting Obviously cleaning after Thanksgiving was on the agenda. Didn't get as much as I wanted done, but the kitchen is beautiful and the living room is at least uncluttered. :) We also took down the blinds in the living room and replaced them with intermingled blue and green curtains. 2 panels of blue and 2 of green... we were sure in the store, but when they were on the way, damn! They look so good. We also hung a mirror we purchased like a thousand years ago. :) It's been sitting on the floor proped up against the wall for awhile now, but now it lives happily above our "Dragon and Dog" table. Weather It rained twice this weekend! Maybe El Niņo will strike this year! (For those unfamiliar, El Niņo is a meteorological phenomena that periodically causes rainy seasons on the west coast and droughts on the east coast of Asia). I really do love the rain, I know it's strange that I also love the weather in Southern California (because the two rarely meet). I think maybe it's rains more in Riverside where I grew up, so I'm more used to it. *sigh* I'll enjoy the rain when I can get it and maybe in the future we'll consider moving to a rainier place. Geekness I've really been frustrated with Struts, a Java web application technology I'm trying to learn. So, I set it aside and looked for something else I could do in Java to help sate my desire to make something. It's a silly little thing and it doesn't really provide any real world benefit, but I enjoy it, so it's all good. :) Read/Post Comments (2) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
