Mood: Happy Parts and Sad Parts Read/Post Comments (3) |
2003-03-18 8:26 AM Pleasently Caving In We have had a lot of rain (for California) these last couple of days! It's so nice and green everywhere. :)
The only downer about it was our drive to and from San Diego to visit friends. They are moving to Montreal soon so we had to make sure to see them at least one more time. We went and had food at an Indian restaurant. It was really good and reminded me of the Indian food that Shelley makes at home. Good job, Shelley! :) Also... happy birthday, Shelley! Her hubby, Ken, arranged for an awesome dinner at the Rusty Pelican an upscale restaurant in Glendale. Good times. :) The sad bit... I took our digital camera to work today so I could take some pictures for my passport application... but I didn't realize that Jenn's wallet and keys were in the camera case. :( She's stranded at home and I feel terrible. She's handling it well, but I'm not. My parents ancient monitor finally gave up the ghost. A loud popping sound and then the images shrinks to a dot. Well, Jenn and I have talked a lot about getting me a flat panel but I felt I could live without it and that every day I did so the price would come down and the technology would get better. Jenn convinced me this was the right time, I could give them my monitor and get a new flat panel as an early birthday present and everyone would be happy. :) She's so good to me.
