I've heard from some people recently, and I've received links to news articles about how Google is going to remove blogs from their search results because it's "causing too much noise"... some people are upset because if they search for a news article (for example) they get a bunch of people talking about the news article instead of the actual news article. These people see this as a Bad Thing.. however, having the oppurtunity to look into the Google stuff a little now I can honestly say if those links come up first then they are generally thought of as "more important" by the web community than the original source. And seriously... any blog that is talking about a news article has a link to it, so you'll get what you want anyway...

Anyway, the short of it is... it's totally not true, never was said, never going to happen, nope, nada, zero.
