Is the sun weird where you are?
So, the Sun is VERY weird this morning in Santa Monica. It's very brownish-orange and is casting a strange hue over everything.
I think it is probably based on smoke and ash in the atmosphere from fires in the area, but I think this also makes a good intro to this movie of a Coronal Mass Ejection (also known as a Solar Flare):

Don't forget, the Sun accounts for 99.86% of all of the matter in our entire Solar System. :) (heard this via word of mouth, I'm still looking for verification)
