oh... um... that's not good
Friends and family converged yesterday to help me celebrate my official promotion to 1st Dan Black Sash in Hwa Rang Do!! :) :) :)
It was a very cool ceremony and then we all went back to our place for a party. A party in which too many shots were had. ugh. urp.
It's actually the first time I've ever been that drunk before, because I almost never drink.
Assuming that I just remember the day up until the 4th shot of Rum, it was a REALLY great day. There was a belt test at the dojang before the ceremony that had like 30 people testing. After their test, DJN had them all line up to stand at attention during the promotion ceremony. It was cool, Kyle and I were given chairs to sit in off to the side during the test (which is totally not the norm, so I felt very important).
MANY people showed up to the party at our place afterwards, family, friends I haven't seen in a long time, friends from work, etc. So, if I could just remove the ralphing, I'd say it was a perfect day. :)
