My Favorite part of the S-1
Warning: This entry has a geek joke.
The S-1 form (the form announcing Google's intentions to go Public) is a long, long form filled with lots of legal stuff. However, to those with an astute eye, this wonderfully geeky things will stand out:
In the "CALCULATION OF REGISTRATION FEE" section, the "Proposed Maximum Aggregate Offering Price" column is the proposed amount of of the IPO.
The amount is $2,718,281,828. Or, in other words, it's 2.718281828 billion dollars.
That amuses me to no end. :)
