4th of July
Sarah flew out from Texas to stay with us for the weekend and on Sunday we all went over to Shelley's house for some BBQ and other standard 4th of July fare. We ate a ton of food, gabbed about lots of things, played a disastrous game of Scrabble and then headed over to a local High School for a fireworks show!
We got to the gate and I discovered that I didn't have my wallet, I had left it back at Shelley's. :( We didn't have enough money between us to get into the little street fair where the best seating was. SUCK! I went over to the ticket booth and explained the missing wallet problem and that we were $2 dollars short and asked if there was anything they could do to help me out. They happily covered us for the missing $2 and we enjoyed a TOTALLY awesome fireworks display! :) Hooray for friendly ticket booth people!
