Not only was last week filled with an excellent time at the Ropes course... one of my bestest friends, Janel, came out to LA to visit during the USC Homecoming! :)

We spent the day at Disneyland on Thursday where they have totally redone the Haunted House in a Nightmare Before Christmas motif! It's awesome!



I'm still honing my self picture taking skills, but I'll include a couple here. :) Taking a picture while moving on the Matterhorn is actually much harder than you'd expect.




I was surprised we even made it to the Matterhorn because Janel had been visciously attacked earlier in the day at California Adventure.




We had a total blast at Disneyland! I'd have to say that California Adventure was pretty lame, but the Tower of Terror is awesome!

Homecoming was also a total blast. Every year at the USC Homecoming football game the alumni band, silks and song girls are invited to get down on the field and perform again. I got to hang with veteran Silks and homies (from left to right and then down) Emily, Melanie, Janel and Sondra.





I joined them as they were gathering on campus to make the march over to The Coliseum. I love hanging out with the band because it's basically non-stop joking around and insults. :)




There were 92,000 people in attendance!! A little before and after shot..





The alumni band actually played a lot better than the current band which was a little disheartening. I was told that things have been slowly going downhill the last couple of years and it was noticible. My veteran Silk companions also did a great job on the field despite little moment of hilarity. :)

The game was a total slaughter. It was really like a football team playing against a bunch of 3rd graders (WSU). The final score was 55-13 and much of that ass kicking was done by the second stringers.

Phew! The Ropes weekend, Janel visiting, now it's Halloween and I've got midterms this week! No rest for the wicked... bitches.
