Pelosi Tears Up While Referencing Harvey Milk
She describes a similarity between the violent hateful rhetoric of today with the rhetoric of the late 70s that led to the murders of Harvey Milk and George Moscone.
She makes an excellent point about personal responsibility for your words because the audience of the words isn't necessarily as balanced as the speaker of the words. For example, sure, maybe Operation Rescue didn't directly kill Dr. George Tiller but his murderer was definitely incited by the rhetoric of Operation Rescue.
