Self-Awareness and Countdown
Countdown with Keith Olbermann has been sliding further and further down over the last couple of months. I've taken to watching only Rachel Maddow instead of both shows, but tonight I stopped in to see what was on Countdown.
It was a story about the lies that Sarah Palin tells on Facebook (no real news), but then it segued into how she manages to get her statements out in the media without doing any press conferences or talking to any actual journalists. That "the media" just takes the stuff she says on Facebook and writes a story about it and puts it on the news.
THAT'S WHAT YOU JUST DID.
If you think that Sarah Palin is stupid and shouldn't be given a platform for the stupid shit she says on Facebook, THEN STOP TALKING ABOUT IT ON YOUR NIGHTLY SHOW.
*sigh*
