Pop Faces Claims He Covered Up German Sex Abuse
Child abuse and the condoning and covering up of child abuse has happened at all levels of the Catholic Church all the way up to the Pope. We've also recently discovered that one of the Pope's ushers has been secretly arranging a gay prostitution ring.
I know there are many, many Catholics who are fine people, but the actual hierarchy of the Church is corrupt and hypocritical. The rape of young boys in the Catholic Church is a systemic and institutional problem among the Clergy. It is condoned and perpetuated by the highest reaches of the Clergy.
The allegations dating to his time as Archbishop of Munich came a day after he was accused of covering up attacks on up to 200 boys at a deaf school in the American state of Wisconsin.
