Just wanted to clarify something: I did have a good time on the cruise, and I'm very glad to have given it a try. I'm just not sure that I'd get in line for another when it comes time to pick a vacation next opportunity.

The primary purpose of this cruise wasn't to have fun, but to celebrate a life and fulfill some last wishes. We did that, and we got to do some other things before and after and I wouldn't trade any of it.

Anyone who wants a PDF copy in greyscale of our daily 4-page shipboard activity schedules and other flyers handed out on the ship is welcome to request them from me (kps1@cornell.edu). At 11 MB they're too big to put on a web server for downloading, but they can go on CD via USPS instead.

Same goes for copies of all the photos I took during the trip. I didn't shoot all that many because my flash is busted and the water-based shore excursions didn't have a safe place for my camera.
