Came across this today on a web site. It seems somewhat truly applied to me these days because I think I'm living a pretty wise life in the sense of holding down a regular steady job. But it sure is an unexciting one with no prospects for change, and to me that's kind of sad.

OTOH, it really was only a few months ago that I was in Egypt doing the opposite. Weird.

I find that wanderlust seems to be coming in ever shortening cycles these days. It used to strike every spring really badly after I stopped going abroad to Ireland for so many years in a row each May. Now it's a constant battle of desires to stay the course.
