Stayed home again today so that I could go visit the dr. about my throat. I would guess that it's either strep or tonsilitis. Called the dr. office and they phoned in an antibiotics prescription for me, so I hope that makes it go away.

It's quite, quite painful to even swallow, especially in the morning. Ice cream helps, though, as does carbonated bevvies. It's somewhat hard to talk as well. Eating lots of warm soft food and drinking lots of liquids to make it feel better. And plain ibuprofen seems to work better than cold medicines.

Skipped class too. Not my idea of fun to sit through three hours of statistics, making a terrible grimacing face every time I have to swallow. I saw that in the mirror this morning and jumped right back into bed.
