Both good and evil could come from Wheels of Zeus, a GPS-based system that will allow anyone to track anything.
Put a litttle locator chip on your pet's collar... your set of keys... your car... your bike... your kids... your spouse... etc., then use a web page to find out where they are at any time. I've been looking into GPS devices that I could attach to my bike, but so far the ones I've seen are rather expensive and marketed toward companies that operate fleets of vehicles. Between devices like WoZ, and little radio frequency tags that can be embedded on any item in a store (to eliminate check-out lines), I'm looking forward to more technological conveniences in the future. I think that Trilobite is still a bit expensive though. Read/Post Comments (0) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
