"GOP portrays Bush as strong wartime leader"

I don't doubt that's a true statement, but what REALLY bugs me about it is that Bush *STARTED* the war. And he did so against the wishes of UN.

It's not like FDR who just happened to be president when Japan -- a recognized nation -- attacked the US.

Bush happened to be president when terrorists attacked the US, so he starts a war with Iraq, who apparently had little to do with that attack. And this warmongering was based on "misinformation" and outright lies, or if not that then intelligence so bad as to be even more embarrasing.

Strong wartime leader. Yeah. Strong leading warmonger is more like it.
