Happy Birthday to Brenda! We wish you long life and happiness!
Things here have taken a crazy turn. Shelley's newish managers have strongly advised her not to take vacation during TV staffing show interviewing season, which is the last couple weeks of May and early June, so that she can be available on demand.
So... even though we've already bought plane tickets, it looks like we'll postpone the use of them until mid-June, just in case (fingers crossed!) something comes of her managers' efforts.
The postponement assumes either nothing works out staff-writer-wise or else there's enough time between current and new jobs that we can slip away for two weeks. If not, we'll take that griffon ride when we come to it.
In the meantime we have a new strong contender for baby name, which I'll just give you a clue about: combine "Ken" and "Shelley" and what do you get?
