My dilation ain't the same as Shelley's. It might be about one centimeter, but that's for each eye...

At a standard eye exam today they put drops in my eyes to make them dilate. They got huge! Everything became blurry. It was freaky to experience and look in a mirror.

(I took some camera-phone pics, but they are not good enough to show how weird it looked going 'round with such large pupils.)

Then they photographed my retinas with a flash camera, resulting in me seeing a giant MasterCard logo for about a minute afterwards.

It took a couple hours to get back to normal and to be able to read this computer screen.

On the plus side, no prescription change. Always nice to hear that diagnosis.
