My sister Wendy has never visited us before, so while she's in the area, we're taking her to see many of the places we like to spend an afternoon. This was Baby's first trip to the ocean!


This includes the doggy beach out at Venture County and the Los Angeles Crest National Forest, a bit to the east of our house. This was Baby's first trip to the mountains! And her first sight of snow (the rain/drizzle turned into large flakes as we rose in elevation).

Quite a few firsts for baby this week, but she's burbling her way along just like normal.
