Seems I'm "it" for stating five weird habits in the latest blog meme (via Jenn).
The Rules: The first player of this game starts with the topic "five weird habits" and people who get tagged need to write an entry about their five weird habits as well as state this rule clearly. In the end, you need to choose the next five people to be tagged and link to their web journals. So... five weird habits. Hmmm. Lemme think. This is hard. I don't know whether my habits are weird. What defines weird, say, as opposed to anal-retentive, or prudent, or foresightful, that may be normal? I'm very tempted to let you all tell me. Guess I'll give it a shot, though. 1. Taking jobs that don't pay well (although they have other perqs). 2. Keeping track of every expense / income down to the tiniest amount. Yes, I can tell you exactly how much we spent for snacks and drinks in October, 1994, or any other month since August, 1991. 3. Databasing stuff like games, CDs, DVDs, books, model ships. (I can't wait for affordable RFID chips for the home!) 4. Leaving piles of stuff around the house, mostly from short-lived, 90-percent-done projects that simply fall off my radar. Perhaps this is not weird, but my piles are starting to get in the way because I've run out of room and mostly just shift them around now. 5. Not quite a habit yet, because I've only gotten to do it once, but it's my intention to continue at each opportunity: take jury duty whenever possible (i.e., my job covers it). It's a great change from the ordinary and can be eye-opening. Following the rules, I hereby tag Paul, Brenda, Lori, Kenny, Brainsalad. Thanks for playing.
