Catching up...
Monday it was 1° F. here. Brrr. A snowstorm came in shortly after that. Colder than California, but the view is nicer.
Snow-fueled waters
And a snow-laden gorge
The most convenient way to and from campus - based in Trumansburg - seems to be the bus, with occasional driving in and parking remotely in the borrowed pick-up truck. Thus, that will be my system for the next month. Why spend the time driving and the money for gas when the bus takes only minimally more time and is either cheap or free and lets me read?
This entry and the next have been delayed by back-to-back games of War of the Ring with Bob. It's a large-scale board game that takes us about four hours to play. Sadly, my Fellowship has been defeated twice in a row. Our bachelorhood ends today with the return of Helen and little Adam.
