On Sunday I was again pining the loss of my good camera, for the sun played brilliantly upon the ice-coated trees, turning them to crystal as far as the eye could see.
These poor attempts to capture the beauty simply do it injustice, and I fervently hope this phenomenon appears again next year. A huge maple tree in the yard here, bejewelled in the morning sunlight. Other nearby trees all decked out and nowhere to go. Perhaps my best attempt at catching the sparklies.
