On Sunday I was again pining the loss of my good camera, for the sun played brilliantly upon the ice-coated trees, turning them to crystal as far as the eye could see.
These poor attempts to capture the beauty simply do it injustice, and I fervently hope this phenomenon appears again next year. ![]() A huge maple tree in the yard here, bejewelled in the morning sunlight. ![]() Other nearby trees all decked out and nowhere to go. ![]() Perhaps my best attempt at catching the sparklies. ![]() The sun setting over the valley; it's almost possible to make out the glittering frosting on the trees on the far hill.
